– The park’s homeless are moving towards a new cold winter while the house is only until maturity. We want to focus on this and will see that justice triumphs, „said Raymon.
– How long will you go on?
– We are here as long as we can. The plans are to start up a cafe and have opportunities for sleeping upstairs, „he says.
– What about the ownership of the municipality?
– What we are doing is illegal but not immoral. The question is rather whether it is right for them to just let the house deteriorate. Is profit more important than human rights, he asks?
– WE STAY UNTIL WE ARE THROWN OUT!
Earlier this morning we saw the police several times outside the building.
-Do you think they ‚ll come back?
– We hope not, but we will be here until we get thrown out!

I must confess I was a bit sceptical when I saw you starting up this, Raymon, but now I´m just impressed how determined you are. Anthony would have been proud of you, and moved, I know that for sure. Ok, you are doing a good job for the homeless. But I´ve noticed that there´s this group of people from other parts of town hanging around the house. I´ve seen some of them tagging houses and benches at night on my way home from night shift. Some of them are hassling the young skaters, – I know because my son uses the skating ramp a lot with his friends.
I didn´t know about this, and the last thing we need is the youngsters at the skating ramp feeling unsure about gathering in the park. They are such a cute little bunch. I´ve had many laughs with them 🙂

I must remind all of you that occupying a house is an illegal action. There are better ways to execute social work. Maybe Raymon and his friends have the best intentions, but as the worried mum says, this place attracts other sorts of people, too. I never get tired of reminding you of the graffiti problem, for one thing. I think the best we can do is gathering forces and getting these people out of the house asap.
