As you have seen in the park and in the news, the House is occupied by 10-15 youngsters who claim that their main goal is to give shelter to the homeless of the park. Later tonight I will make an interview with Raymon, the spokesman of the occupants.
I thought the homeless wanted to be homeless???!!! Why don’t we use the house for people who really needs it like the drugabusers tumbling arround in the park! Perhaps there could be some kind of guarding system in the house to avoid dangerous situations? -a wooden house and open fire could be a bad combination. What do you think Maja?
I´m not sure an old, empty house is the best shelter for the drug addicts. They need a proper place to live as all of us. I´ve talked with the young people who´ve occupied the house and, seriously, they are a very nice and concerned group of people. Saying that some of them are voluntarily unemployed is just offending. They do a great job with the homeless. They come when they feel they need to be inside, and it´s really cold some nights, so of course they are happy to have such a place available. I don´t really think they have open fire in the house, and they are sensible people, so guards in the house doesn´t seem like a good idea to me. But I´m glad you engage in this, and do come and have a chat and coffee when you like! 🙂
