Take the Park back!

parken_tilbake2
We have to use every means to destroy the terrible milieu that ruins our Green park! To remove the drug users from the park is the best thing we can do for the crap living there. –The rest they have to sort out by themselves!

We can´t allow these anti social, self-imposed drug addicts ruin our beautiful park. Drug addiction is not a health problem, it´s a self inflicted insanity and should be treated as such. Let them overdose and thereby increase their numbers.

It seems to me that many of you fall into the same pitch: shoot the messenger! G. has pointed out a problem we have around us and nobody does something about. Our society has more or less given up and let them go ahead as they feel like and occupy their own spaces. Is this the solution??? Tourists who come to our city are shocked to find drugged individuals, lying half dead in the sun in the park, and ask themselves how one of the riches countries in the world can let this happen??!! Tomorrow maybe it´s your own son or daughter who´s lying there, and what the hell are we doing????

Just a thought: what if let the assurance companies, who lose lots of money from what the drug abusers steal and ruin on other people´s property, spend 25 % of the annual payments on starting treatment??? Maybe the assurance payments will substantially decrease the year after??? Or maybe that is too easy?

I don’t think it’s easy to solve this problem iwith a finger snap. It has in a sense been „accepted“ that the addicts have lived in the park, but it has never been such a problem until now. This park i snot the only place where the drug abusers are setlled. I believe that it should be easier for a drug addict and have come to detoxification when he or she wants it. The que is much too long for the ones that wish to do something about their problem. Maybe our city could start to hand out heroin to be smoked so we don’t have to find syringes everywhere. It flows with syringes in the park.

    this is completely sick!
it is quite obvious that mr. G has never known any drugadicts.
the same with those who have responded here.
to try to get out of substance abuse problems is like going through hell. both for themselves and for everyone around.
i have been a drug abuser for years and I would have quit if I could. -For sure!

By the way, what about all these people who fill the hospitals after self-inflicted car accidents. Throw them out of the hospitals, let them manage on their own. What if a drug addict now attacks G. Well, then he has brought it on himself after this article. Then damn, he´ll have to manage on his own. G. is an idiot and shouldn´t waste the health service´s time.

Why should we help people with lung cancer after smoking or people who are struggling with obesity? They have also „chosen it themselves.“ Sometimes people make stupid choices, especially when they are young, and we as a society will be better if we help those who need and want help. You can ask them to account while giving them the treatment they need. That being clean is a lifelong project that requires a will power and self-knowledge that very few of us have.

Many Americans used drugs in Vietnam. When the war was over about 80% stopped using drugs once they got home. This means that they „only“ have to stop. History is full of examples of people with a bad childhood that have become good people, that childhood is not an excuse. No one can say that they didn’t know about the dangers of drugs before they began. Therefore, they have themselves to blame. They chose to shirk school, chose to seek the park, chose to try drugs, chose to try the drug again, etc.

There are no human rights to self-destruct or harass others. The drug addicts stay alive because of the money the rest of our society pays in, while they plagues us in different ways by stealing, begging, littering, etc. If it were up to me all the addicts had been detained so that decent people could live in peace.

When it comes to those who sell drugs, the penalties be much higher. For my part, they should be stuffed with the drugs they are caught with, so the chance that they sell more is not so great …

If only 80% were able to quit after Vietnam – then actually 20% did NOT make it! Should be an evidenve that it’s not easy for everyone to quit!

During the war all there were no criminals. The medicine was, that the Germans sent them for heavy manual work. When the day was over, they were so exhausted that the only thing they thought of was to get to sleep. Hard work is good medicine for all kinds of people who refuse to follow the society’s rules. Maybe this is something that can be tested for the drug addicts?
